How many of us left? Please come to attention and announce yourself

Just a forlorn hope that there may be a few of us still fighting till the end. I would be over the moon if someone would read this and give a quick reply, as I said, just a forlorn hope. But just a quick hello.
Haydn.

In response to your question Haydn …
Numbered 5026490, I was SAC for what now seems like a very short period, i.e. just before demob. Including gestation, I’m now on my 84th jaunt around the sun, and since ’72 my vantage point has been near Melbourne. Well mostly.
For circumstances beyond this short note, most of my friends now know me as Sam.
As can be surmised, I’ve only just registered with this Message Forum, a consequence of learning of the death in May of Corporal Colin W Kleiser, and the kindly guidance of Webmaster Gwynne,
Since mid2013 when I registered with the website, I have corresponded with several who, as I did, passed through the gates of RAF Bridgnorth in about ‘56.
Alas, in that short space of time, there has been a distinct decline in our exchanges. At our age, some of the reasons are to be expected.
My two years of NS, took me to places I never anticipated, mixing with those I might otherwise never have known.
Somewhat limited to sitting at my computer, I’m happy to chat and even share some of my run-of-the-mill experiences.
Regards to all,
Sam
