Should you be interested as to how the Journal reported on activites at RAF Bridgnorth, take a look at a recent addition to the home page of our website, Choose a year and you'll find a variety of reports for that period. I choose 1956 where there was mention of our DI, Flight Commander and the name of the Station CO whose name was Trumble. An obituary about his life can be found on a Google page and is well worth reading about a man whose life could be described as inspirational. Sadly, we knew nothing about him at the time, and our only 'connection' was by reading his name on the board of SHQ.
