Thanks to Ray Gould 5074938, for these photographs of 39 Flt, 'D' Sqd in the Winter of 1960.
He says "In the big photo, I am back row, 6th from the left and in the smaller one, front row, 2nd from the left.
I don't remember any names or whether any of them came to Compton Bassett with me.
I remember the huts were freezing cold in the mornings. The stoves had by then gone out and if you didn't get
to the washrooms early, all the hot water had gone so we had to wash in freezing cold water as well. Happy days!!
