The main gate is on the left, two 'Gate Guardians' are some way from the gate and the then recently completed married airmens quarters are in the distance.
 
Thanks to Grenville Williams 3122758 for this photograph, one of approx. twenty he has supplied,
although this actual photograph was given to Grenville by an aircrew officer during 1950.
Grenville was Flight Commander of 10 Flt, 'C' Sqd, 2 Wing, from 16 March 1950 to the end of his National Service in September 1951.
He was also responsible for fire safety and was sometimes the unofficial Photographer of special events at the Station.
