Thanks to Dave Lloyd Jones for this photograph of part of 9 Flt, 2 Wing between Nov 1950 and Jan 1951.

He says "The course was 9 Flight 2 Wing and had 3 recruits named Jones. I am one in from the left in the back row. The bloke at the extreme right hand end of the centre row was also a Jones as was the second from the left in the front row. The bloke at the left end of the centre row was called Hayward however I cannot recall any other names, including the drill instructor. If anyone could provide his name I would be very pleased to hear it."
Comment by the Webmaster - the Corporal would seem to be the same one that's in the photograph titled '1950 - Dec hut?'. The signature is Moira Mordaunt W.W. Sorrell. Did you have female Drill Instructors?
